EDUCATIONAL LIBRARY TOUR & CAREER GUIDANCE INITIATIVE

 


The Olusegun Oke Library, LAUTECH, successfully hosted the maiden edition of the Educational Library Tour & Career Guidance Initiative for secondary school students, starting with LAUTECH International College, Ogbomoso, on February 5, 2025.

The event featured a library tour, skill development activities, career guidance sessions, and digital literacy, equipping students with essential academic and career insights.

I'm thrilled to announce that I am assuming the position of University Librarian at LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, effective August 14, 2024. I am excited to contribute to transforming the University library into a dynamic center of knowledge and innovation. I am determined to make a difference, capable and undeterred by challenges whatever may be. Together, we will build a library that inspires, empowers, and transforms. I believe in the power of collaboration and I am committed to creating a supportive environment where everyone can reach their full potential. On Thursday, September 21, 2024, the University of Ibadan hosted the 561st inaugural lecture, presented by Professor Ayodeji Omole from the Department of Forest Production and Products. The event, held at Trenchard Hall, was attended by esteemed guests, including high-ranking government officials from Oyo State and members of the management team from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).
